Gold can be earned daily, but the final grind for reputation is a long and the amount of rep you get from the daily quests is minuscule. I recommend siding with the Foundation first. The main ones. Do the main quest until you get to Rosie at the Top of the World. Do all of her quests to unlock Crater (Raiders) and Foundation (Settlers). Both of those groups then have their own questlines/paths to do. You can do them both simultaneously for a while, until it stops at "Do the raid with [group]"
